Royal Starr Filmmaker Community Mixer 

ROYAL OAK, MICHIGAN February 11, 2020 - The Royal Starr Arts Institute, a non-profit arts organization, is hosting a filmmaker networking event in Royal Oak every month. February’s mixer will feature a casting call, headshot photographer, and representatives from other film fes- tivals and organizations. The Filmmaker Community Mixer takes place on the second Tuesday of every month at 5th Avenue in Royal Oak. The next mixer will be held on February 11 at 7pm at 5th Avenue (215 W 5th St, Royal Oak, MI 48067). 

There is no charge for admission and attendees are encouraged to bring their business cards and headshots. Attendees will meet other filmmakers and film professionals from the Metro area, and local directors will be accepting headshots for upcoming films. This month will feature headshot photographer Greg Aubry and a casting call from Pocket Lint Productions. The teams behind The Actors Loft, Indie Stream, We Fix Your Script, Trans Stellar Film Festival, and the I See You Awards will be present to network with guests.

The Royal Starr Arts Institute Is a non profit organization dedicated to supporting Michigan's creative community through art, events and education. The monthly mixers will lead up to the annual Royal Starr Film Festival, an international movie gala celebrated in downtown Royal Oak at the end of summer each year. The festival attracts filmmakers from all over Michigan, the United States, and the world.
